Resource Introduction: An international scientific research project led by China is attacked by unknown creatures while conducting research deep in the Mariana Trench, trapping the researchers underwater. Former U.S. Marine Corps deep-sea diving expert Jonas Taylor is tasked with the rescue, encountering once again the prehistoric creature Megalodon that left him with an indelible memory years ago in the deep sea. Jonas teams up with Chinese scientist Zhang Suyin from the research project to successfully rescue the trapped personnel, but the rescue operation inadvertently causes the Megalodon to escape from the deep sea.
