Resource Introduction: In 2005, NASA discovered an Earth-like planet outside the solar system and determined that there might be intelligent life on it. To make contact with extraterrestrial intelligent beings, NASA launched the "Lighthouse Project," activating a deep space communication array base in Hawaii to send high-power signals for probing. A few years later, an alien spaceship arrived unexpectedly. The Pacific Joint Navy Exercise Fleet stationed in Hawaii was ordered to make contact. The protagonist, Navy Lieutenant Alex (played by Taylor Kitsch), along with his missile destroyer and two other warships, was assigned as a reconnaissance team to approach the alien vessel. However, they were attacked and suffered heavy losses. Due to the shields deployed by the alien ship, other vessels in the joint fleet were unable to provide support and could only rely on themselves to hold on. In the end, all three modern ships were destroyed. With no ships available, but needing to destroy the communication station occupied by aliens, they could only use the USS Missouri, which had been converted into a maritime museum, for the final attack.
